Responsibilities:
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Analyze clients’ financial records
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
- Develop financial plans for clients
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
- Analyze financial documents and reports
- Examine accounting records
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
