Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, sweet goods, muffins, cookies, cakes, icings, and frostings
- Prepare pastry for special occasions (e.g., weddings, birthdays)
- Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
