Job Overview:
As a Baker at The Bagel House, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including dough for pies, bread, and pastries. You will oversee kitchen staff, manage production schedules, and ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough and batters for various baked goods
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and handling
- Bake and decorate cakes, pies, and other items
- Order materials and manage kitchen inventory
- Draw up production schedules and ensure quality control
- Inspect kitchen areas for cleanliness and compliance with standards
- Handle special orders and accommodate food allergies or intolerances
Requirements:
- Languages: English
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a baking role
