Job Details:

- Salary: $21.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a baking role
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, including icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for baking operations.
- Bake mixed dough and batters, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet presentation standards.
- Draw up production schedules to manage workflow effectively.
- Train staff in baking techniques and safety procedures.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Hire and dismiss staff as necessary.
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Experience and Specialization:
Candidates should have experience in baking, particularly in:
- Breads and rolls
- Donuts and muffins
- Cake decorating
Work Conditions:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. The environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
