We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Sioux Lookout. If you have a passion for vehicles and a commitment to quality service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
- Inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Discussing findings with supervisors to determine whether to repair or replace units.
- Reviewing work orders and conducting road tests on motor vehicles.
- Performing scheduled maintenance services and ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
- Completing reports to document problems and work performed.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in automotive service is an asset.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and reliability in performing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Additional Information
- Must have own tools and equipment, and wear steel-toed safety boots.
- A criminal record check may be required.
