Rudy is a dynamic restaurant located in Etobicoke, committed to providing high-quality food and exceptional service. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee our operations and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, your primary duties will include:
- Analyzing the budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
- Developing and managing budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies.
- Evaluating daily operations and modifying food preparation methods and menu prices accordingly.
- Monitoring revenues to determine labor costs and assessing staff performance.
- Planning and organizing daily operations, including staff recruitment and scheduling.
- Supervising, training, and conducting performance reviews for staff.
- Implementing operational procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Negotiating arrangements with suppliers and addressing customer complaints or concerns.
- Participating in marketing plans and implementation to enhance the restaurant’s visibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant management role.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Reliability, flexibility, and strong organizational abilities.
