Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in accounting or a related position

Responsibilities:

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Supervise and train staff; arrange training for team members.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
  • Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports; examine accounting records.
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice, including variance analysis.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee payroll administration.

Supervision:

  • Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.

Experience and Specialization:

  • Computer and Technology Knowledge:
    • Proficient in accounting software such as CANTAX and QuickBooks.
    • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Areas of Specialization:
    • Financial planning
    • Financial examination
    • Accounting
