Qualifications Required:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Computer & Technology Knowledge: Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Office, Electronic scheduler, Database software, Computerized bookkeeping system
- Security & Safety: Vulnerable sector check required
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm appointments, answer phones, handle electronic inquiries, open/distribute mail, and provide customer service
- Greet visitors, direct staff, coordinate HR activities, advise senior management, and respond to employee inquiries
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems, maintain digital databases, perform data entry, and conduct research
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and documents; compile data and statistics; record meeting minutes
- Determine office procedures, coordinate information flow, and arrange seminars and conferences
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using computerized systems and accounting software
