AW Clark Transportation Services is a reliable transport and logistics company based in Napanee, ON. We are currently seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to operate straight or articulated trucks for long-haul routes, ensuring safe freight transport, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining excellent customer service and communication with central dispatch.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week (Minimum wage is guaranteed)

Salary: $36.92 / hour

Key Requirements

  • Work Location: On the road (frequent/constant travel, overnight trips, extended periods)
  • Language: English
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Licence Required: AZ Class License
  • Specialization & Conditions: Long-haul transportation, willing to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Safety & Equipment Requirements:
    • Criminal record check & Driving record check (Abstract)
    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots

Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation & Safety: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods, including dangerous goods. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections (tires, lights, brakes, cold storage).
  • Communication & Logging: Maintain constant contact with central dispatch; accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Deliver professional service to clients at pickup and delivery locations.
