Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years; experience operating industrial lift trucks/forklifts, radio frequency scanners (RFS), and working in shipping/receiving
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to transport materials and goods
- Handle shipping and receiving duties using radio frequency scanners (RFS)
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding environment involving repetitive tasks, work under pressure, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Good hand-eye coordination required
- Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Personal protective equipment required: Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
Personal Suitability:
- Excellent oral communication, team player, and strong time management skills
Eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit
