Qualifications Required
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Technical Knowledge:
- SNMP communication protocols
- Thermal analysis
- Voltage regulators
- High‑voltage equipment
- Industry Experience: Electrical utilities
- Service Experience: Security
- Areas of Specialization: Testing, Installation, Operations/Production, Repair, Troubleshooting
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s licence
Job Responsibilities
- Install equipment
- Interpret blueprints and instructions to plan work methods
- Maintain and service equipment
- Test power equipment and systems
- Assist in design, development, and testing
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
- Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Conduct safety training programs
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Supervise installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical/electronic systems
- Operate specialized and standard test equipment
- Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance reports
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints
