Qualifications Required
- Education: College/CEGEP or non‑university certificate/diploma (1–2 years) or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Credentials: HARP Certification (Healing Arts Radiation Protection)
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental examinations
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
- Maintain and order supplies
- Perform reception and clerical duties
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene
- Prepare wax bite‑blocks and impression trays
- Take and develop X‑rays
- Record dental procedures performed on patients
