Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks, service attachments, and working tools.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturers’ specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work.
- Utilize welding experience for necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
Working Conditions:
- On-site work in a maintenance and repair environment.
- Must be available for on-call duties and overtime as required.
- Requires technical proficiency with heavy machinery systems and diagnostic tools.
