Qualifications Required
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Certificates: Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO)
- Technical Skills: Amadeus, MS Office, Sabre
Job Responsibilities
- Handle financial transactions such as plane tickets and travel insurance
- Calculate travel and accommodation costs
- Recommend suitable travel products
- Research new travel areas, hotels, and amenities
- Manage difficult customer situations
- Perform general office duties
- Sell travel products and travel insurance
- Provide travel information including regulations, duty‑free allowances, health risks, attractions, and events
- Develop contact lists
- Advise clients on destinations, transportation, accommodations, and travel costs
