Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Install fibre optic and telecommunications equipment
- Interpret blueprints or instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Maintain and service equipment
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
- Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Conduct or supervise installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical/electronic systems
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze performance
- Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Experience and Specialization:
- Equipment and systems: Telecommunication systems

- Areas of specialization: Testing, installation, repair, troubleshooting
