Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend productivity and quality improvements
- Recruit, hire, and train staff in duties and policies
- Conduct performance reviews and arrange training for staff
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Stock shelves and display areas; maintain stock cleanliness and order
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Direct customers to requested articles; bag, box, or parcel purchases for shipment or delivery
- Maintain computerized stock inventory and order stock
- Perform order picking and fill mail/electronic orders
- Record incoming stock and unpack products received, counting, weighing, or sorting items
Working Conditions:
- Cold/refrigerated environment in frozen foods department
- Relocation costs covered by employer; willingness to relocate required
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone, steel-toed safety boots
