Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 5 years or more

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data
  • Supervise activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation
  • Prepare and cook meals regularly or for special functions
  • Plan and direct food preparation across multiple restaurants
  • Ensure food quality standards and plan menus
  • Train staff in food handling and preparation
