Qualifications Required:
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean crops and greenhouse areas
- Cut seeds and perform weeding
- Mix and prepare soils
- Plant bulbs and seeds
- Pot and re-pot plants
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Clean work areas
Working Conditions:
- Floriculture production environment
- Outdoors, wet/damp, hot, cold/refrigerated, non-smoking
- Fast-paced, physically demanding, repetitive tasks
- Standing for extended periods
