Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5 years or more
Job Responsibilities:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Document and report deviations from specifications
- Maintain inspection records and complete reports
- Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools
- Enter codes for speed, feed, and cut of toolpath for CNC machines
- Clean and maintain workspace
