Qualifications Required:
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Assist early childhood educators in program delivery and record keeping
- Lead storytelling, songs, crafts, and outings
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest
- Observe and report signs of learning or behavioral issues
- Discuss children’s progress at staff meetings
- Establish behavior guidelines and maintain collaborative relationships
- Plan and organize before/after school activities
- Ensure health, security, and well-being of children
