Qualifications Required:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Install and overhaul HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and equipment in refrigerated trucks
- Assemble and install air conditioning components; measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and refrigerated truck equipment
- Interpret blueprints and plan installation sequences
- Provide customer service and respond to fire alarms and emergency calls
- Perform maintenance and test for leaks, recharging refrigerants, and calibrating systems
- Prepare tenders, quotations, and develop schedules for safety inspections and maintenance
