Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Credentials: AZ Class License, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods
- Adjust routes using GPS/navigation to reduce emissions and optimize travel
- Load/unload cargo and ensure its security with tarping
- Record mileage, fuel, hours, and cargo details
- Perform inspections, brake adjustments, preventive maintenance, and roadside repairs
- Drive as part of a team or convoy
- Communicate with dispatch and manage trip documentation
- Specialize in mountain driving and cross-border trips
