Job Details

Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
- Security: Criminal record check
- Transportation: Must have own transportation
- Tools: Personal kitchen tools and cellular phone required
Work Setting & Environment
- Restaurant and central food commissary
- Wet/damp, hot, cold/refrigerated, noisy, non-smoking conditions
- Physically demanding with extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, lifting
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook specialty dishes and complete meals for guests and events
- Plan, direct, and oversee cooking activities and food preparation for multiple restaurants
- Create new recipes and prepare dishes for those with allergies or dietary needs
- Supervise and train cooks and kitchen staff (5–10 people)
- Maintain food cost, consumption, inventory, and sales records
- Requisition supplies and consult with clients for events and catering
- Ensure quality standards and presentation are met consistently
