Qualifications Required:
- Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, replace, and repair electrical controls, panel boxes, wiring, and cables (surface, overhead, underground)
- Design and construct low-voltage (30–750 V) multiphase services; ground and bond systems and structures
- Install power generation, standby, and conditioning systems; connect power to audio/visual equipment
- Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground-fault integrity; troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications; estimate costs and materials
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs; commission systems and components; maintain reports and documentation
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor, at heights, confined spaces, hazardous, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated environments
- Physically demanding; handling heavy loads; overtime required
