Qualifications Required:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1 to 2 years)
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Credentials:
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports or case histories
- Assess client skills and development needs
- Conduct follow-up assessments
- Prepare food and assist with meals
- Resolve conflicts and supervise clients in group homes
- Implement behavior management programs
- Liaise with social services and healthcare providers
- Develop service intervention models and outcome measures
- Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments
