Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, steel, substitutes)
- Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
- Prepare layouts according to building codes
- Prepare tenders and quotations
- Schedule and coordinate on-site work
- Survey building locations and levels
- Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures in various facilities (mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, etc.)
