Job Details:

- Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: College/CEGEP in Project Management or Construction Management
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs and pre-qualification submissions for clients.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems, including AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, and advise on tendering procedures.
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards, set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, and monitor contract expenditures.
- Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding cost estimates.
Experience and Specialization:
- Knowledge of estimating packages, take-off packages, and specialized environmental skills.
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial construction, purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
