Job Details:
- Location: Toronto, ON, M4K 1N1
- Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week

Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Setting:
- Work must be completed on-site; no remote work option
- Restaurant located in an urban area
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Analyze operating costs and other data
- Create new recipes
- Instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff (3-4 people)
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special guests or functions
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Supervision:
- Supervise 5-10 kitchen staff
Credentials Required:
- Cook Trade Certification
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Cook Red Seal Certificate
