Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience is an asset

Responsibilities of the Job:
- Interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background, and career goals
- Prepare case histories and assess problems
- Refer clients to appropriate external services
- Identify barriers to employment and assist clients with job readiness skills, job search strategies, résumé writing, and interview preparation
- Perform administrative tasks
- Advise employers on human resource and other employment-related issues
- Administer and interpret tests to determine clients’ interests, aptitudes, and abilities
- Collect labour market information regarding job openings, entry and skill requirements, and other occupational information
- Provide established workers with information and strategies for dealing with job dissatisfaction, making mid-career changes, and adjusting to workplace transitions
- Liaise with community agencies or partners, identify additional or alternative services, and provide referrals
