Job Details:
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 35 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Hire food service staff and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports and food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and oversee a team of 3-4 people.

- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Fast-paced, physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and the need to bend, crouch, and kneel. Standing for extended periods is required.
