Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in accounting or a related field
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in accounting or a related position

Responsibilities:

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare tax returns and reconcile accounts.

Experience and Specialization:

  • Computer and Technology Knowledge:
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Simply Accounting, and Xero.
