Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in accounting or a related position
Responsibilities:
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Supervise and train staff; arrange training for team members.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
- Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting, and internal control procedures.
- Analyze financial documents and reports; examine accounting records.
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice, including variance analysis.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee payroll administration.
Supervision:
- Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.
Experience and Specialization:
- Computer and Technology Knowledge:
- Proficient in accounting software such as CANTAX and QuickBooks.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
