Job Details:

Qualifications Needed:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Experience is an asset but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Credentials:
- Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:
- AZ class license
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience and Specialization:
- Knowledge of documentation including accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, and inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
- Experience with types of trucking and equipment:
- Flatbed
- Tractor-trailer
- Tractor-trailer B train
Work Conditions:
- Security and Safety:
- Driver’s validity license check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding role, requiring prolonged sitting.
- Must have own tools/equipment: cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots.
