Qualifications Needed
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 5 years or more in a relevant role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services
- Develop reports and proposals illustrating the benefits of products or services
- Provide input into product design to tailor goods or services to client needs
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions
- Resolve product and service-related issues
- Implement pricing and credit policies
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
Experience and Specialization
- Computer and Technology Knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
- Database management and point of sale systems
- Sales Experience: Focus on chemicals and chemical products, automobile parts
Working Conditions
- Environment: Fast-paced; ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity required
