Job Details:
- Location: 321 Orenda Rd, Brampton, ON L6T 1G4
- Salary: $28.50 hourly / 40 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
- Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally.
- Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of vehicles and perform inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Pay and receive payments for goods transported.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods as required.
Credentials:
- AZ Class License
Experience and Specialization:
Candidates should have knowledge of documentation related to transportation, including accident reports, bill of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, and trans-border documentation.
Work Conditions:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. The job may require handling heavy loads, working overtime, and performing physically demanding tasks.
Personal Suitability:
Candidates should have excellent written communication skills, flexibility, good judgment, and organizational abilities. Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
