- Salary: $18.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Develop events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes.
- Create and evaluate communication strategies and programs.
- Oversee the preparation of public written material, including reports, briefs, and website content.
- Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or informational purposes.
- Perform administrative tasks and prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts.
- Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies.
- Assist in preparing brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials.
- Coordinate special publicity events and promotions.
- Gather, research, and prepare communications material, maintaining contact with the media.
- Conduct analytical marketing studies and develop a portfolio of marketing materials.
- Manage digital database and conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions.
Experience and Specialization:
Candidates should have knowledge of computer and technology, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and social media management. Experience in community service organizations, interactive/new media, and digital media is beneficial.
Work Conditions:
This role requires working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and having attention to detail. Candidates should have access to a computer, internet, and a cellular phone.
Personal Suitability:
Candidates should be client-focused, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication abilities. Flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, and reliability are important traits for this position.
