- Salary: $20.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
- Experience: Experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
- Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Credentials:
- Machinist Trade Certification
Experience and Specialization:
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers, callipers, gauges, and verniers.
- Experienced with milling machines and the operation of CNC machines.
Work Conditions:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. The environment is fast-paced, and tasks can be repetitive, requiring standing for extended periods with a need for attention to detail.
