Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in an administrative role

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and review new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Administer policies related to the release of records under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and oversee office administrative procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate office procedures

Supervision:

  • Oversee 1 to 2 other staff members
