Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in baking
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, and icings
- Prepare pastry for special occasions (e.g., weddings and birthdays)
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff (3-4 people)
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules and ensure product quality
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Operate machinery and maintain inventory
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Cuisine Specialties:
