Job Overview:
As a Cook at The Balmer Hotel, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food preparation meets quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a cooking role
