Experience Requirements:

  • 3 to less than 5 years of experience in cooking

  • On-site work only, no remote options
  • Restaurant setting in an urban area

Responsibilities:

  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for meal preparation
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and compliance
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage overall kitchen operations

Experience and Specialization:

  • Specializes in Cantonese cuisine, sushi preparation techniques, Dim Sum, and Japanese and Thai cuisines
