Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing community spaces, seeking a skilled park maintenance supervisor to oversee grounds maintenance and staff management.

Job Details:

Location: Wiarton, ON
Workplace Information: On site
Salary: $25.44 to $31.63 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, To be determined

Overview:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Site Environment:

Work Setting:

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule work
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Supervise staff
  • Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds

Supervision:

  • Supervise 3-4 people

Experience and Specialization:

  • Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Chain saw
  • Small engine equipment
  • Weed trimmer/edger
  • Lawn mowers

Additional Information:
