Hakka Khazana Bar & Grill is a vibrant restaurant known for its authentic Hakka cuisine and exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking skilled Cooks to join our team in Sarnia. Location: Sarnia, ON
Salary: $17.20 hourly
Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time

Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Training kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
- Ordering supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning the kitchen and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Managing kitchen operations effectively to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a cooking role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Skills Required
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of Hakka cuisine is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and maintain quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train staff effectively.
