Overview:

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in their job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns professionally.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure accuracy.
  • Establish work schedules for the team.

Supervision:

  • Responsible for supervising food service counter attendants and food preparers.
