Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Complete onboard and other logs
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Prepare accident reports
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Experience and Specialization:
- Truck or Equipment Experience: Snowplough
- Area of Work Experience: Landscaping, Snow removal
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
