We are looking for a motivated and skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team at our head office in Oakville, Ontario.
Position Overview
As a Programmer Analyst, you will analyze business requirements and design the best possible solutions based on technology, infrastructure, and timelines provided. Experience in e-Commerce, FinTech, or retail industries is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement new business applications.
- Review business functional requirements and develop code to ensure new applications meet specifications.
- Identify and communicate technical issues, processes, and solutions.
- Maintain existing applications through troubleshooting, debugging, and improvements.
- Analyze business requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and Webforms using C#.
- Previous experience in e-Commerce, FinTech, or retail industries is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of the Blazor framework is nice to have.
- 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and reporting tools like Crystal Reports or SSRS.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
Skills Required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including conditional statements, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
