We are looking for a motivated and skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team at our head office in Oakville, Ontario.

Position Overview

As a Programmer Analyst, you will analyze business requirements and design the best possible solutions based on technology, infrastructure, and timelines provided. Experience in e-Commerce, FinTech, or retail industries is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement new business applications.
  • Review business functional requirements and develop code to ensure new applications meet specifications.
  • Identify and communicate technical issues, processes, and solutions.
  • Maintain existing applications through troubleshooting, debugging, and improvements.
  • Analyze business requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and Webforms using C#.
  • Previous experience in e-Commerce, FinTech, or retail industries is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the Blazor framework is nice to have.
  • 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and reporting tools like Crystal Reports or SSRS.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).

Skills Required

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including conditional statements, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
