Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and colleagues on complex consular case issues, including refusal risks and processing trends.
- Liaise with US Embassies and Consulates to resolve case issues and develop strategies.
- Supervise the workflow of Analysts to ensure quality standards and compliance are maintained.
- Handle complex client matters and provide high-quality legal advice and representation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare relevant documentation.
- Foster a positive work environment and demonstrate professionalism and quality service.
Qualifications
- Member of a US State Bar (Canadian bar admission is an asset).
- At least 2 years of experience as an immigration lawyer with a focus on consular work.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop effective case strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
