About the Bata Shoe Museum
The Bata Shoe Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of footwear and its influence on culture. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including processing invoices and payroll.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
- Use accounting software and data analysis tools to track and report financial information.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in bookkeeping or accounting.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong data analysis and database management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Dependability and strong time management abilities.
