To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
As the Chief Financial Officer, your primary duties will include:
- Developing, monitoring, and implementing financial objectives for the department.
- Allocating company funds effectively to ensure optimal departmental performance.
- Setting realistic financial goals and establishing controls to maximize productivity.
- Managing all financial affairs for the organization, including cash flow and investment management.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with IIROC policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or an equivalent professional certification.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams in finance and accounting.
- Strong experience in reading and interpreting complex financial reports and effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
- Experience in land development and/or new home construction.
- Exceptional skills in financial management, including monitoring, allocation, and control of finances on a large scale.
- Strong leadership and managerial abilities, with excellent analytical skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
