About Gateway of Niagara Convenience

Gateway of Niagara Convenience is a busy gas station and convenience store dedicated to providing excellent service and quality products to our customers. We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Gas Station Managers to join our team in Niagara Falls. If you have strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As a Gas Station Manager, your primary duties will include:

  • Managing staff and assigning daily duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
  • Determining merchandise and services to be sold, as well as implementing pricing and credit policies.
  • Locating, selecting, and procuring merchandise for resale.
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Planning budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Determining staffing requirements and resolving issues related to customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • Overseeing payroll administration and conducting performance reviews.
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in using point of sale systems and electronic mail.
  • Strong adaptability and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented with effective time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Additional Information

  • Willingness to travel may be required.
  • Public transportation is available.
